Native tribes migrated, traded, warred, displaced each other, and claimed territory long before Europeans arrived.

This map is powerful...but incomplete. It shows a snapshot of who occupied certain lands when Europeans began their records, not who originally settled or controlled those areas. Many tribes conquered others, pushed out smaller groups, or absorbed neighboring peoples. For example:

The Sioux were originally from the Great Lakes region before being pushed west by the Ojibwa, and later pushing out other Plains tribes like the Crow and Pawnee.

The Comanche didn’t arrive in the southern plains until the 1700s, when they took territory from the Apache.

The Aztecs built their empire by subjugating and often brutally dominating dozens of neighboring peoples in central Mexico.

Even the Iroquois Confederacy, highly organized and respected, expanded their territory by force, often at the expense of rival nations.

So if we’re going to say “this land was theirs,” we need to keep digging, because someone was there before them too.

History is messy. It doesn’t fit neatly into the victim-and-villain narratives people try to paste over it. And you don’t get to freeze time at the moment that suits your ideological point of view. If you truly want to "learn from it," then look at all of it. Including the uncomfortable truth that conquest, displacement, and struggle have existed in every era, among all people.

Gavin Newsom and his band of corrupt parasites have spent years rotting that state from the inside out, and it will take decades to scrape off the damage if people ever find the guts to toss these clowns out. Funny, is this Republican Christian governor going to sign it? The Bible says, ‘He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.’ Jesus said that to the crowd ready to stone the woman caught in adultery, an offense punishable by death. Jesus, the only sinless one, did not stone her. Imagine that. If we stoned people for adultery today, there would not be many left standing. Maybe instead of only pushing the death penalty, we should also look at banning pornography and other things that feed this kind of evil in the first place. If we're not truly willing to fix the problems that caused the issues, then why are we punishing people for it?
So I would say, for the people pushing this, I would sure hope that you would also be willing to get the maximum penalty for the sins that you've committed. Because everybody's time is coming.

It didn’t seem to bother you when they were being flooded into our country under Sleepy Joe. And as someone who fought for America, you should know better than anyone that when one leader creates chaos, another has to step in and look like the villain just to clean up the mess. They came here to live off our system, not respect it.

So I have to ask, where is your patriotism? Is it with America or Mexico? I don’t fly an American flag when I go to Mexico. I respect their country and their people when I’m there, but they sure don’t respect ours when they come here illegally.

Maybe sit out Independence Day if you want, but don’t lecture the rest of us about treating everyone like human beings while ignoring the Americans hurt in the process.
