Also have some fun diy solar going on at home (impulse is on the on-grid side of the house). Even charged battery off the Rivian
Team big ass battery. 20β Toyo at iii EVs, 75-80 mph I-70 west in Kansas. ~20 degrees outside. Cabin about 68 or thereabouts. Getting effectively 170 mi of range on a 2023 gen 1 large pack π¬
Any chance Rivian wants to do the βrealβ (180 kWh) max pack someday?
@DomDoesMedia Probably lack of supply would be my guess. Also - outside Tesla - feels like the industry is moving towards LFP. And plenty of other companies selling new batteries for cheaper (signature solar rate for 14.3 kWh lfp w/ul listing and fire arrestors is currently 3500)
@brandenflasch Iβm still not quite used to the fact that I donβt need my keys 95% of the time (Tesla and/or Rivian exclusive since 2023). Still donβt have a dedicated use for the keys pocket
