Had a Vietnamese close friend in 2012. She hated Vietnam and said it would collapse soon. Many friends in China said the same about China. In fact the oft repeated quote was ‘China will collapse soon’.

Around that time, post-2008, another friend from America said it was collapsing. I told him to just buy Google/Apple/Amazon shares since it was all very cheap at one point. He didn’t. $10k would now be worth millions.

In 2018, I was sitting with an investor in NYC. I asked him about Musk. He said Musk was a fraud, Tesla was a fraud, and it would all crash. I was about to buy $20k of Tesla and didn’t. 20k = $2mn+ easily. Keep in mind 20k wouldn’t have bankrupted me. So even if his advice was right I should’ve followed my heart. The downside was just losing 20k. Upside was millions. But I was too blackpilled.

Mined a few btc in 13, everyone in the community was blackpilled - this is a scam this is a scam that I took Ls on it. Mined doge too. Same story. Listened to blackpillers. Sold early.

Years later I have now learned that blackpilling is the default retarded state. That’s why few people become millionaires - the rest keep slogging.

You only hate what you know. You hate your country cause you know it. And in that hate you forget any rational upside.
