Culture doesn’t need more frameworks.
It needs more clarity.

Robin Williams’ emotional tribute to the American Flag leaves an entire stadium speechless — then in tears.
Is there a single Hollywood star who would give this performance today?
Total Patriot.
RIP Legend 🇺🇸
America the Beautiful
1776 ★ 2026
250 Years
It seems surreal to think that I remember the Bicentennial celebration while growing up.
I remember the special quarters my dad made sure my brother and I had.
I remember the patriotic concerts, the parades, the pride.
We were united. We were proud. We were American.
Then came 9/11.
One of the darkest days in our history.
Yet in the face of tragedy, America stood tall.
We came together. We lifted each other up.
We remembered what this country is built on.
Freedom.
Courage.
Sacrifice.
Unity.
Now, as we approach America’s 250th birthday, I refuse to let the noise of a few drown out the love of the many.
I choose to believe that most people who call this country home are proud to be American.
I choose to believe there is more love than hatred in the world.
I choose to believe that God will continue to bless America because we the people have counted on and believed in His power and protection for generations.
From the Revolutionary War to today—the rockets’ red glare, the Stars and Stripes, our Founding Fathers, grandparents who fought in World War II, brothers and sisters who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and those who continue to protect our freedoms today—
Every generation has been called to leave America a little stronger than they found it. That’s our calling now.
Thank You.
So fire up the grill, get those Roman Candles and sparklers ready…
It’s time to celebrate America the Beautiful. #America250 #4thofJuly
Some treasures are hidden in plain sight.
In my latest Reel Leadership post, I’m looking at National Treasure and what it teaches us about culture, legacy, curiosity, stewardship, and protecting what matters most.
The real treasure? Culture.

A colorful alley in Chattanooga reminded me of a leadership truth:
The best leaders don't just manage what's in front of them.
They see possibilities others miss.

A parking lot reminded me of a leadership lesson recently.
A “ONE WAY” sign pointed right.
A brick wall stood to the left.
Yet most of us spend far more time arguing with the wall than following the sign.
Not every obstacle is meant to be overcome. Sometimes it’s meant to redirect you.
Want to create a company culture that attracts top talent & keeps employees engaged? “Culture Secrets” gives leaders the tools to build a V.A.L.U.E-driven culture that leads to lasting success! @p_chellie
I got chewed out over a hamburger story 30 years ago.
Turns out it taught me one of the biggest leadership lessons of my career:
Trust isn't granted because of a title, logo, or reputation.
It's earned through consistency.

Just wrapped up the Cooperative Communicators Association Institute in Chattanooga.
Learned.
Shared.
Laughed.
Reconnected with friends.
And had the opportunity to present on how every communication sends a signal that shapes trust, culture, and perception.
One of my biggest takeaways:
The best communicators never stop being students.
