Dear Narinder,
The Falklands isnβt ours to βsellβ.
The Falklands belongs to the people of Falkland Islands, who have been British since before Argentina even existed as a country.
Falkand Islanders consider themselves British, not Argentinian, and have voted time and time again to remain a British overseas territory.
You want us to deny the Falkland Islanders their sovereignty? You want to treat them as property? You want to undermine their independent choice and sell them off to a foreign power against their will?
Cool.
But you regularly scream about the British Empireβs rulership of India and how those βoppressive colonial forcesβ had no right to make decisions for the people of India, use their resources, or treat them as property to be expended and sold amongst other global powers.
You are using the same logic you brand βracistβ when it comes to other countries.
The Falklands belongs to Falkland Islanders. Britain is merely the protector of their sovereignty.
And we will always protect them.
Viva Las Islas Falklands! π«π°
