You tacitly agree with Tim's point about institutional corruption, otherwise you would not have felt compelled to disclose the Polymarket product placement. Wu is being specific, saying that taking money from Polymarket to post opinions is corrupt. He isn't saying it is bribery, but that it's a form of institutional corruption. You believe that too, but you think disclosure mitigates it.

There's an ideological disagreement here. We saw it in Citizens United, where five justices said the state has a compelling interest in corruption but defined corruption to only mean bribery, and four justices had a more capacious vision of corruption as fostering broader conflicts of interest. I don't know what you think about Citizens United, but you are adopting the logic behind that decision.

Rather than taking offense so you don't have to engage on Tim's overall point, you should engage.

Three-time Trump voter: I voted for Trump, but I really want to apologize. I'm looking at this awful picture of the Obamas. What an embarrassment to our country. All this man does is tell lies. He is not worthy of the presidency. He takes bribes blatantly, and now he's being a racist blatantly.
