@HMRCcustomers On the self assessment, if I have a main employed job and work Self employed but earn less than the small profits threshold, why would I pay for NIC voluntarily? Would I miss out on something by not paying?

@imagni Just to throw a spanner, maybe with the savings you could get a Samsung main 2tb, I've notice the Corsair doesn't have as high TBW (terabytes written) which is it's lifespan, 250 for the corsair vs 600 for a Samsung 980, seeing as you are moving a lot of files might be worth it.

@imagni CPU's normally 'throttle' themselves if they get too hot, also as a last resort they'll generally shut themselves off if it goes beyond. Although excessive heat does reduce the longevity so you could be on to something. If you wish you could always watercool later.

@imagni Just remember, it's your PC, whatever you choose will work because it's someone else building it and providing warranty, it'll be much better than what you had before and you can always choose to upgrade in the future if you really need to, I know this shit is overwhelming

@imagni Oh sorry, yeah the Corsair SSDs are alright, nothing special, the Samsung ones are better, they will probably be more durable which may be more what you're after

@imagni Oh and to answer your question about the RAM, yes you can run one stick but you're essentially halving your maximum bandwidth, if you upgraded the motherboard to the B760 -PLUS you could have a mobo with 4 ram slots and PCI4 lanes for your SSD's

@imagni These are all my opinion of course, please feel free to make your own choice and get other opinions. If you wanted to save money on your build you have, I'd go with the corsair SSDs, especially as you won't be able to run the Samsung ones you spec'd at full speed
