I think I found a planet nobody knew existed.
It's been hiding in NASA telescope data for seven years.

@lavie154 I only have theories on why the TESS pipelines missed it. NASA's main search needs a 7.1σ signal, and in the 2020 data this one is about 6 to 9σ, right at the edge. MIT's QLP combines all years with a threshold of 9.
Any idea what could stop it there? I'm really curious.
@lavie154 Actually LLM didn't find this one 🙂
I ran a standard transit search (BLS, not even ML) over 120k+ stars in TESS data from late 2025, coded with Claude Code. The LLM helped after: two weeks of checks trying to prove the signal wrong

@trq212 Thank you, Thariq! Really appreciate you sharing this. Claude Code has made it possible for me to explore things I never thought I'd be able to work on.
Huge thanks to you and the team for building it 🧡
I really didn't expect this to reach so many people. Thank you all for the kind words and support. It honestly means a lot.
Sorry I haven't been replying much. There are so many messages that I'm struggling to even read them all haha. I'll go through the replies properly when things calm down a bit.
I'll keep sharing updates, new experiments and notes on working with AI, so dont forget to follow
Really, thank you all ❤️
Happy to share! I've wanted a good telescope for , so that's definitely the first thing
And I'm working on a tool that makes it easier to search telescope data for possible planets, run all the necessary checks, and see which candidates are actually worth investigating further.
I'd really love to finish it and make it available for others to use too :)
@mickeymantled I honestly don't know what to say. I never expected any of this. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me, it really means a lot.
As for the name, I don't have the authority to officially name a planet as per astronomic rules :(
Thank you again ❤️
