We often use terms like Lone warrior or Carryjob for players who carry their team in a single tournament..
Yet,there are few cricketers who consistently carry their team throughout their career, excelling in every facet:both on & off the field..
Let's talk about ANDY FLOWER

Population of Australia is 2.6 crores. That is less than the population of New Delhi. Their weather is hot and 90% of that country is so hostile that nothing can live there.
But that country has won
6 Men's Cricket world Cups
3 Men's Hockey World Cups
2 Men's Rugby World Cups
Has won Asian Cups in men's Football and they almost always cross the group stage in the Football world Cup
They have won 547 Summer Olympic Medals and 19 Winter Olympic Medals, with 170 of them Gold.
They even have 6 Winter Olympic Gold medalists, when it doesn't snow in Australia.
On top of all that, they have produced no 1 players in Golf and Formula 1.
And the best part is, the achievements listed above are in sports that aren't even their most popular sports. Their no 1 sport is Aussie Rules Football which is played only in Australia.
I don't think there is any other country in the world, that has such diversified sporting achievements.
And all was done with a population which less than one Indian city.
@pashine1@ICC@T20WorldCup@vikrantgupta73@joybhattacharj Rather than thinking about teams need, they were trying to cement their position in the team.
The main problem is that they say one thing and do exact opposite.
At least don't lie to public.
@pashine1@ICC@T20WorldCup@vikrantgupta73@joybhattacharj But for Indian fans, International tournaments brings unhappy feelings.
By winning every bilateral series, they create the hype that they have improved. But they constantly fall short in crucial situations.
@pashine1@ICC@T20WorldCup@vikrantgupta73@joybhattacharj We have been hearing for the past year that they are trying to play aggressively after learning from the previous WC. But, when the time came for them to demonstrate their preparation, the openers' anxiety of being eliminated was obviously visible.
Virat Kohli took over as Indian Test captain in 2014/15.
India played Test cricket for 82 years until then, but had never tasted such success.
They did win, at times even away from home, but nowhere close to what they did in the Kohli era.

@cricketingview Interestingly, Kohli never left early all innings, including for both of the deliveries that Ashwin waited to face. The wide and the drive over mid off. He always looks at the ball in the bowler's hand until release. Even in a desperate situation, he was never leaving early.
Kids, follow a sport in your life.
On most of the days, it will make you sad, some days it will make you hate, but on some days, it will make your jaw drop, it will make your heart skip a beat, it will make you feel like a champion, even when you dont play!
Follow a sport, Kids
George VI died when India were playing England in Madras 1951/52. A rest day was hastily arranged.
Elizabeth II's reign officially began during that Test match.
It was the first Test match India won.
So essentially every international match India won was during her reign.
No one needs to show off patriotism.
When India needed to be freed, Bengal produced more martyrs than anyone else.
As always, numbers do tell the story.
If need arises, Bengal will do it again. And again.
Round the year, not on a specific day. By deed, not by changing DPs.
This is the first time all 10 partnerships in an Indian Test innings reached double digits but none reached fifty.
Partnerships this innings
10, 19, 47, 10, 40, 22, 35, 32, 14, 23
