@MarcusNewling That army win looking not so great now. Your argument is now officially cooked because now neither team has a ranked win but NIU still has their win against y’all.
@MarcusNewling Your point just doesn’t make sense “they held it against them for weeks.” A record is a record, a bad loss is a bad loss. The point is that by resume, strength of schedule/record and the lack of conference made it where ND isn’t top 5. Rightfully so, ND resume stinks
@MarcusNewling Again losses don’t disappear, it should be held against them when comparing teams.
Army is not an impressive win, they run a super, I mean super outdated offense. Like worked 100 years ago. They’re in a conference in like every other sport. They choose to be independent
@MarcusNewling ND has more non top 25 losses. Which is worse. Like how bama has more top 25 wins than SMU but bama has more losses to teams outside the top 25.
Also, how many of these “top 25” wins by ND are still in the top 25?
I personally think ND is ranked too high. Join a conference
@aldumancela@aldotcomTide That would make sense if Alabama lost to the hard teams (like uga did) SMU has a better strength of record because bama lost to SEC bottom feeders
@MarcusNewling They flipped them, both uga and Texas are top 5. ND is rightfully getting punished for not playing in a conference and playing a weak schedule and having the worst loss of the teams in the playoff
@MarcusNewling Losses don’t disappear. That loss can still be held against them when the final rankings come out. Texas only losing to UGA and UGA losing to ole miss and bama look better than ND losing to NIU (at home)
