I’m working on a new video about performance in @expo apps — and I’ve got to say, by far the most impressive technique I’ve found is digging into React Native Worklets (from @swmansion).
Realizing you can offload heavy computations into a custom runtime to keep your JS thread free and your app responsive just blew my mind.
It feels like you can generate CPU power out of nowhere 😅 Stay tuned!
Unistyles 3.0 was just released and the creator, @jpudysz, shared thoughts about when to use it (and how):
◆ When performance is critical
◆ When you need powerful, type-safe theming
◆ When you’re building for every screen
◆ When you're building a Universal App with Expo Router
◆ When you're tired of component boilerplate

Opening apps by URL is fundamental for many categories of products.
This is why Expo Router uniquely automates the entire deep linking process regardless of how large your app is.
`eas build` now prompts you to set your app's encryption status before building so you never have to set it manually in the App Store Connect website.
This saves about a minute of manual work for every iOS release 🚀
