“The government of the day should be the one to be blamed for its failure to curb this flooding menace. We pay our taxes to them and not to any other individual. It is their responsibility!”
— Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the NDC and CEO of GoldBod.
Commuters on the Kasoa–Winneba Highway are enduring severe delays, spending nearly three times the usual travel time due to the poor condition of sections under redevelopment.
The deteriorating road has also led to frequent vehicle breakdowns and recurring incidents of overloaded trucks falling, raising safety concerns for road users.
Speaking at a forum at the University of Education, Winneba, Professor Ransford Gyampo called for an urgent assessment and review of the contractor’s work to ease the burden on commuters.

What God has put in your heart—the dreams, the promises, what you’re believing for—you have to pronounce it before you’ll see it. Don’t stay silent. Don’t just wish. Silence is surrender. Silence is letting Goliath stay. Be a David. Speak to those giants in the authority of the Most High God.
