Quienes me conocen, saben que he dedicado mucho tiempo a estudiar el horror del holocausto cometido por la dictadura nazi contra el pueblo judío.

Por eso me indigna y condeno el genocidio que el Estado de Israel está cometiendo con el pueblo palestino, con casi 20.000 niños y niñas asesinados en Gaza.

Soy coherente con mi historia personal.

Si denuncié el holocausto y siempre dije que no se podía olvidar para que no cayera en el olvido -participé en diversos actos de recuerdo-, ahora tengo el mismo deber de condenar lo que está sucediendo en Gaza, sin equidistancias ni palabras medidas.

Me mueven mis convicciones personales, me mueven mis convicciones políticas y mis creencias religiosas.

El humanismo es, para mí, expresión misma de mis convicciones.

Y no pienso callar ni mirar hacia otro lado. Conmigo que nadie cuente para silencios medidos o ser políticamente correcto, porque yo ni callé entonces ni callo ahora.

Mi conciencia no me permite otra cosa.
