This is why I tell everyone to check Global Fees Paid before buying a memecoin.
Look at this chart.
It ran to 140K+ market cap...
Then completely nuked.
The warning was there the whole time:
Total Fees Paid: 7.89 SOL.
That's way too low for a coin that reached that valuation.
Every real buy and sell generates fees.
If a coin has a huge market cap but barely any fees, it usually means the volume wasn't organic.
Teams can inflate charts with bundled transactions while spending very little on fees.
My rule of thumb:
• Near graduation: 8+ SOL in fees
• Graduated: 10+ SOL minimum
• Around 1–2 SOL in fees for every 10K market cap
This chart peaked around 150K MC with less than 8 SOL in total fees.
That was a massive red flag.
Stop chasing market cap.
Start checking the fees.
It'll keep you out of more rugs than almost anything else.
🧵 SENSEI POSITIVITY 🧵
My feed is filled with toxic behaviour, arguments among fellow SOL holders and unnecessary hateful comments.
I am never surprised, I have seen this behavior in every bear market.
I want to help you guys by sharing this thread full of hope and love.
