Summary of the press briefing by Prof. Tanko Ishaya:
University of Jos will resume full academic activities, with exams continuing on April 13, after calm returned.
The March 29 Angwan Rukuba attack killed over 33 people, including two Unijos students (Abel Joro Gershon and Adeyomo Oluwafemi Temitope) and injured others.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tanko Ishaya said the crisis forced the postponement of exams due to a curfew and security concerns.
Despite nearby violence, no attacks occurred on campus, and security has now been strengthened.
The university discouraged panic evacuations, saying they created fear despite campuses remaining safe.
Management expressed condolences and called for better security collaboration to prevent future incidents.
