@afc1903mad@Sheeponfire1903 Being on the half way line even with no defenders is not an ‘obvious’ goalscoring opportunity.
No obviously not hence why yellow card was correct decision imo.
Look we’re not going to agree on this which is fine. Football is all about opinions. Enjoy your day👍
@afc1903mad@Sheeponfire1903 I’m not a Motherwell fan so he’s not my keeper😂. I don’t think it’s a red. This is the third time VAR has changed a yellow to a red for DOGSO in the past week when none of them are clear and obvious reffing mistakes. Tell me VAR isn’t re-reffing games.
@lasso242125 😂😂I’ve had many an argument with refs in my time to know I’m not always right. I can totally understand why he’s given it but VAR is quick to get boys sent off not quick to keep them on the park. I feel the game is being ruined by VAR. Just my opinion.
@afc1903mad@Sheeponfire1903 I’d say being on the half way line when fouled with 2 defenders in Motherwells half isn’t an obvious goalscorer oppurtunity😂. The first one is more debatable. At the end of the day I want VAR to stop re-referring games
@Sheeponfire1903 I’m not a Motherwell fan mate. Just pointing out how useless VAR is and how’s it’s ruining the game. VAR is being used to get players sent off for bookable offences. That’s rubbish.

We are thrilled to announce that manager Paul McLean has extended his stay at Central Park.
Paul, who was part of the coaching team last season, took over from Dougie Hill in the summer and quickly got to work building his own squad - a young side with a sprinkle of experience throughout.
Some impressive results have followed - winning away to Cumbernauld Colts for the first time, our first win over Civil Service Strollers in the Lowland League and Cowdenbeath's first victory over Celtic B, as well as a resounding 7-0 win at Blackburn United.
We look forward to seeing how Paul's team develops throughout the rest of this season and now into the 2026/27 season.
Upon signing his new deal, Paul commented "I’m delighted to have agreed an extension with the club. I would like to thank the chairman and board for putting their continued trust in me. I have thoroughly enjoyed the step up to management and look forward to progressing the foundation we have built this season.
I feel this group has a lot of potential and I will continue to work as hard as I can to get the best out of them and to give this club the team it deserves. I (with the help of Nelly) have already started the groundwork for next season as is evident with having 8 boys signed up and hopefully more to come.
Finally, I want to thank all my staff for their hard work and dedication and hope we can continue to get this club back to where it belongs."
Chairman Donald Findlay KC added "I am delighted that Paul has agreed to extend his contract. I have been most impressed by his hard work and the positive atmosphere he has created in the dressing room. I see clear signs that we are making real progress and I believe he is the man to take the Club forward. I hope everyone connected with the Club will welcome this news and give Paul wholehearted support."
