@British_Airways Then started giving me instructions to transfer 500 GBP to someone else in Kenyan Currency. I suspect this is a scam and you might wish to warn you customers about 2/2

@British_Airways after complaining on Twitter I was contacted by someone pretending to be a BA manager who allegedly put me in touch with your senior Director Nixon Henry. Then offered me to issue a manual refund of 500 GBP and gave me instructions to download WorldRemit 1/2

@britishairways and if I can't claim back through the insurance company because your staff logged a missing luggage report incorrectly I will send you a bill for each item and trust me it wont be cheap

@britishairways I don't have a huge following on X however I will make sure to raise this with other channels such as @BBCWatchdog unless we are at least allowed to speak to a human representative who can help with this issue.

@alisonkatebr That’s not surprising. U.K. GDP per capita (based on purchasing power parity) is below EU-27 average whilst the Netherlands has the 4th Highest in the EU. You have to compare like for like - for example Italy, which has wealthy north and less developed south.
