At PDF Nigeria, we believe healthcare works best when patients and doctors understand each other.
We’re not on the patient’s side.
We’re not on the doctor’s side.
We’re on the human side.
Better healthcare outcomes is our goal.

When patients feel seen, respected, and understood, healing becomes more than a physical process .It becomes a partnership.
As healthcare professionals, your knowledge saves lives.
But your compassion changes lives.
The body may come for treatment, but the person comes for care.
LOOKING AT A PATIENT AS A WHOLE.
A patient is never just a diagnosis.
They are not “the diabetic in bed 4 or “the asthma case in clinic.”
They are someone’s mother, brother, daughter, friend.
You understand that illness affects not only the body, but also the mind, emotions.
Giving medicine — but also giving hope.
Sometimes the most healing words are not prescriptions, but:
“I hear you.”
“I understand.”
“We will walk through this together.”
Awesome.
This is the spirit! I am really amazed by Dr. @EPotterMD’s work.
We need more health professionals to challenge the status quo. She has really taken on the giants. I am rooting for her.
Patient centered care includes the billing and cost of care. @pacemafro
