#GELBOYS2EP3 the fandom culture in the series is indeed exaggerated and could've been captured with more nuance/research about fandom etiquette and taking the fangirls' feelings (as the target audience) into consideration, BUT I also won't act like idols can freely have lovers and face no consequences now––or that fans don't fantasize about their idols, or that y/n fanfiction doesn't exist (and someone who knows the idol might be able to read it). You might not check all this stuff, but these fans exist too, ESPECIALLY in the context of the story.

To me, personally, I've lived this fangirl lifestyle long enough to accept that those behaviors have always been part of the fandom since probably Beatlemania, and that it might look weird to other people, but I'm okay with that.

And anyway, I love the series. To me, it's just getting better, so yay 🤣
