🇱🇧Hady Habib has reached the last round of the Australian Open qualifiers with a second round win today, becoming the first Lebanese in the tennis open era to reach the last round of qualifiers at a Grand Slam.
He’s one win away from making it to the main draw with a win tmrw😮
HISTORY🇱🇧
Hady Habib will become the first Lebanese tennis player in the open era to play at a Grand Slam after reaching the main draw of the Australian Open following a crazy win against Frenchman Clement Chidekh SAVING THREE MATCH POINTS😳 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (10/8).
OMG! #AusOpen
Just to clarify;
World No 1 Sinner failed 2 drug tests and was suspended for just a few days in between events.
World No 2 Swiatek failed a drug test and she got a 1 month ban in between events and in the off season.
Both bans were kept silent at the time of the bans.
Terrible.
Unfortunately @iga_swiatek will not play in Wuhan this year. She is taking some time after making changes in her team.
We will miss you Iga. See you next year ❤️

Sharapova was suspended from Tennis for 2 years (later reduced to 15 months) for taking a substance that had only just been banned.
Swiatek gets 1 month off season for having a well known banned substance in her system. The discrepancy and inconsistency in bans are unacceptable.
The trust is gone along with integrity. They have set a precedent that if you are a superstar & bring money to the sport, loopholes & “judgment” will be applied in your favor. If you don’t bring any value to the sport they don’t hesitate in destroying you and making an example.
What about players that ate contaminated meat in south America ? Why didnt @TaraMoore92 get a one month suspension? Im slowly starting to think, that not everyone gets an equal process…
@alessandro_a_v_ that doesn’t make it fair that players Halep and others had a crazy long bans for similar things. I’m glad it’s changing because the doping rules are unfair. But guys like Ymer are still suspended and he’s never even tested positive.
