@trulyyblu Marathon did not succeed, so we dont know if it wouldve helped destiny. If i had to guess, best case scenario would be marathon getting enough sales to just slightly lose on money. And then sony decides destiny is more profitable but the studio itself still has some money.

@MarathonGG_ I’m excited but i want to take a second to point out just how terrible marathon release scheduling has been, private playtest during rite of the nine, internal playtests during expansion releases, and now season 2 during destiny 2’s final weeks.

@dillonatm The position aztecross is in with all this is very complicated. But my understanding is that every choice he wants sony to make, should revolve around destiny 3. If that meant shifting the marathon team, thats what he wants, if it meant marathon making money, thats what he wants.

@gmeinersYT In destiny 2 i’ve always thought of casuals as tourists, that probably made up 50% of the population if not more. But i dont think tourists had to be catered to as much, they are less likely to spend money and are more likely to just happen passively if a game has enough players.

@Forcer69 When vespers first came out it was good, but i think the change they made with it was almost the beginning of a chain of bad decisions that made destiny fall off so hard after final shape, i might be exaggerating though idk.

@Nymiixl when it comes down to bungie making big decisions for marathon, its much better that they make them, then dont. I'm sure your response will be that they just need to make big decisions in other ways but so much of what the community has suggested (solos, prox chat) hasnt worked

@Shi_chan_hime @GenericEdBoi idk pretty much anyone can tower dive it just comes down to your characters general strength during laning phase and even then everyone can outplay with movement and melee system

@PiggyKropotkinn Jumping from infinite barters to 1 might be a bit extreme, idk why people always feel like it has to be absolutely one way or the other whats the problem with like 5-8 barters

@KryDotExe Ive always thought it was a little weird that theres a way to make self revives quicker in general. Understanding how to play your cards right in a set timing is a huge form of skill expression, for example in valorant where the spike takes exactly seven seconds to defuse
