Indie connoisseur. If you also like indie games my page will be littered with them. FPSs, hack & slashes, beat'em ups, shmups, Metroidvanias, run 'n' guns, etc.
No Paul, we don't want Marathon and we've made that perfectly clear, so if Bungie isn't going to pivot, then they're going to perish. So be it, let the bodies hit the floor.
What you fail to realize is all of you oblivious completely obnoxious assclowns picked this fight with us, the ones who actually spend money, pandering to a bunch of broke ass losers who don't have two nickles to rub together, and I can promise you, that we can be a whole hell of a lot pettier than you because we vote with our wallets, while you degenerate maggots vote with your meaningless virtues.
Understand this and understand it perfectly well, Bungie needs us, we don't need Bungie, and If you won't respect gamers, then you'll learn to fear us. Your hatred and contempt for us, doesn't outweigh ours, I can guarantee you that. I don't care if you can't put food on your tables when you continue to ruin this medium with your identity politics.
All any of you are to me, are subhuman parasites.
The reality is that now, more than ever, people should want Marathon to win. If it can thrive, it can expand in interesting ways, it can give Bungie runway and leeway with Sony for future projects. It's all upside if you want more Bungie games or even more Destiny. Marathon dying from here doesn't help anyone. Though that does not mean I'm going to just cheerlead if things don't turn around
@johndamagic1@oldmedia I think I've played through it start to finish about 4-6 times. I don't recall if I've ever done a hard playthrough though 🤔
I used to play it as a kid, so I stuck to Easy & Normal.
You've been lied to about superhero games.
Every list looks the same. Same obvious picks. Same safe order. Nobody wants to actually have the conversation.
So let's have it.
My top 10 superhero games.
From my own collection. Played every single one.
You're going to disagree.
Top🔟🧵⏬
This game is fun, but brutally challenging. I was never able to make it past the machine gun pill box in the snow level and figure out what I was supposed to do.
I do put in cheat codes to try some of the later levels and my god, I have no idea how you're even supposed to beat those.
@NostalgiaPro Bruh, I respect your list and there's some great picks, but you're missing one of the best superhero games ever made.
If you're a Hulk fan I implore you, play this, I promise you'll have a great time.
@AshenOne_VI I'm with you 100%, but I do think going backwards on putting PS 1st party games on PC is stupid decision, especially given the abysmal sales Sony has seen.
That's about all I would add to your perspective though.
They made a game for these too that is actually pretty good. Instead of taking place in the real world like the movie, it takes place in their universe.
You start out in Gorgon because the Commandos have invaded your realm, but as the game progresses, the levels become more industrialized, because now you're on the offensive taking the fight directly to the Commandos.
I think it's so freaking sick that they took the movie and expanded upon where these characters actually came from. The older I get, the more I really appreciate the developers and their creativity.
This is why the God of War: Laufey discourse has gone the way it has. One thing that gamers are collectively good at, is recognizing patterns and we know exactly what these "Progressive" Western developers are doing.
We see right through it, and it doesn't help that they tell on themselves because of their insatiable egos and the fact that they're completely incapable of shutting their mouths.
Given the stir this has caused, it seems even the normies and the casuals are becoming aware of it, and that's bad for business.
Nobody can look you in the eye with a straight face and tell you that God of War: Laufey will become a defining game of its era and endure for generations the way the first original God of War did.
It's an excuse to expand the female audience in the AAA industry by force, as has been established in agendas that are open for anyone to see, from GDC and The Game Awards to NGOs and billionaires.
Nothing is genuine, nor does it come from a place of good intentions. Companies are betting on your nostalgia and attachment to iconic franchises while brainwashing the upcoming generation.
The real answer is that this hobby should never have been invaded by resentful women or by men who hate what they are and call themselves "allies." The gates of hell were opened after 2010, and nobody can close them anymore. They should have remained a tiny minority of real female gamers who embraced the past, respected the traditional development of videogames, and were only allowed into the gaming industry by proving themselves worthy

@RinoTheBouncer I really like Control: Resonant & Onimusha: Way of the Sword, but as a big Sci-Fi fanatic, Control offers a ton of appeal to me.
I haven't played Onimusha since Warlords on the PS2, so it's been a minute.
@YorchTorchGames I was literally just going to suggest bringing back Heavenly Sword and you're already 10 steps ahead of me.
Despite how much these people hate you Yorch, I see no reason to believe you couldn't single-handedly rejuvenate Playstation. It's in a very bad place right now.
@GaimReady@YorchTorchGames Thank you friendo, apparently so do many others because after several of my very heated takes, my follower count jumped from 397 to 504.
I am hoping I can do something with this momentum though. I'd definitely like to start posting a lot more game clips of my own for example.
HELL YES! Dude I've been saying that if the industry truly wants more Black representation, that they should make a freaking Spawn game and if they do it justice, it'll sell like hot cakes. I've been saying that for YEARS!
This is literally the wallpaper on my phone.
Todd McFarlane announces Spawn will be in a new video game following previous appearances in Call of Duty and Mortal Kombat
“Yeah and l’ve got another one I just made a deal for. That we haven’t announced.”
