Sending hugs, love, and safe wishes to all our friends on the West Coast who have been affected by the wildfires. Your friends on Sesame Street are here for you. ♥️
Today, in the tragedy of a #pandemic, in the face of the many false securities that have now crumbled, in the face of so many hopes betrayed, in the sense of abandonment that weighs upon our hearts, Jesus says to each one of us: “Courage, open your heart to my love”.

As believers, we do not look at the world from without but from within, conscious of the bonds with which the Father has linked us to all beings. #SeasonOfCreation
Creator God, on this day of memory, we lift up those lost on 9/11 and in the wars since. Give us the strength to seek a just peace for all the world, we pray. Amen. #Remember911

It might be Labor Day weekend, but let’s all remember that we're still in the middle of a pandemic. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and follow the experts. It’ll save lives.
Congratulations to @ginakkelley, a @pacificu 2020 grad, on her new position as a government relations associate with NETWORK: A Social Justice Lobby! We are proud of you! We are excited for you! #ChangeTheWorld#GoBoxers
We're excited to welcome new associates, fellows, and staff to NETWORK this year! While our orientation looks a little different, the passion for justice continues! Help welcome Gina, Audrey, Caraline, Eilis, and Mara to NETWORK
In this season of chaos, I wish I could be there with our students. Early indications suggest I'm not good at being ”retired.”
But my job now is to stay healthy and alive as long as possible. Also, I'm trying to write.

Twenty-four years later, it was nice to be invited back. My mother would never have believed it.
COVID has made this transition more difficult.
To begin with, there hasn't been a chance to say goodbye to colleagues.
Today was a little hard. I finally finished cleaning out my office at Pacific University (though I'm still technically employed until October).
This isn't the first time I’ve left Pacific. I was ”invited” to leave in 1988 at the end of my first year as a student. 😅
