@dissidentwest There are a lot of countries whose national team subsidizes travel for their official supporters out of their winnings. I’m sure it’s also true some of them live here and/or may be supporting family & friends on their journey.

@WhiteHouse great leaders act in alignment with the people they serve. Actions appearing to override that, esp w/respect to economic well-being can undermine their trust. In a mid-term election year, showing concern and responsiveness to those served builds lasting support.
