@googlemaps Since the app has no way to provide proof in support of my repeated edits, I'm tweeting it at you: A view of West Haledon Ave from Van Dyke Ave in Haledon, NJ, showing a stop sign, proving that the street is two way.

I'm tweeting at @googlemaps because they keep REFUSING to fix the direction of this street I drive on ALL THE TIME, claiming that they need to verify the change (but won't say what info they need), and every time I publicly complain they say "Let's take this to DMs".

@googlemaps, is the owner of this disenfranchised location paying extra for you to falsely advertise that they're still a QuickChek franchise?
Even your AI knows they're not a QuickChek any more, but your system won't accept a name change.
Hey @googlemaps, your automated system is rejecting my edit immediately. The store at 40 Market St, Clifton, NJ, is no longer part of the QuickChek chain: it's now branded "Quick Foods". The business owner probably wants to keep this information inaccurate.

They claim they need verification, but they refuse to say what verification besides photos of the street they need. Also, when the street became one-way a year prior (before residents petitioned the town to change it back) they needed NO verification of that change.

@googlemaps refuses to be specific about what they want. Apparently, changing a street from 2-way to 1-way requires NO proof, but changing it back after the town fixed its mistake requires an act of Congress.

Their DM says "Hi again. The team will not be able to make any changes without a valid resource. You may share photos of the location along with any sign board images so the team can look into it. Thanks!"
What the heck is the photo I'm attaching if not a valid resource?

@googlemaps My DM:
What other signage do you want? Do you want a picture of the other end of the street showing the LACK of a "Do Not Enter" sign? What photos can I send besides the photos I've sent already that you've been studiously ignoring that will prove the block is two way?
I'm past complaining at you in DMs. If you don't fix this, I'm going to keep naming and shaming you publicly. It's a simple data edit: fix it already!!!
@googlemaps You always say that, too, then when I give you all the information I've put in the public tweet and nothing else, you suddenly understand what I'm telling you.
@googlemaps@googlemaps You always ask that.
1. I'm updating the direction of the street from one way to two way.
2. The edit isn't happening because your editors need to confirm.
3. I'm tweeting a photo to you to confirm the edit.
