It started its life as an MMORPG. So what does that mean? It means the story was never the point its the mechanics of the game that are put out front to shine. What did they add to that experience? Exploration, no xp grind. So the story will be thr "gotcha" moment.

Why is no one talking about the narrative side of Crimson Desert? What about the story? The cinematics look solid, sure, but if the plot is held together with thumbtacks and vibes, that’s not going to matter. I just have a gut feeling that no matter how much gameplay content it throws at me, this might not be my cup of tea. I hope proper gameplay videos start dropping soon so I can figure out whether there’s an actual story there or just very expensive cutscenes.

The NFL has released a statement about #Rams WR Puka Nacua, who appeared on a controversial livestream with Adin Ross and, among other things, practiced a dance that supported antisemitic tropes. Nacua has since apologized.

“The NFL strongly condemns all forms of discrimination and derogatory behavior directed towards any group or individual. Waking up to both Larian Studios and the E33 team admitting to use of Gen AI wasn't on my bingo card and I am so immeasurably disappointed. I am so tired of AI being shoved down my throat by every app and website.

It is so harmful to the environment and black communities, and steals art from real people. This includes your "cute" little AI profile pics and silly memes btw.
