@nicholasbs Build however you want, but for me, AI will never have direct access to my codebase. That is not a coding preference, it is a security boundary. If you do not understand security, do not complain later.
@Freyy_is It will probably become like manufacturing: mass produced or handmade. You will still be able to choose, but the choice will depend on what your wallet allows.
For decades we compensated for software complexity with faster hardware.
That path is not infinite. Frequency scaling hit physics, memory and coordination costs keep growing, and the speed of light is not negotiable.
At some point, complexity itself becomes the problem to solve.
@theohandsh Maybe to have some fun.
And maybe to find someone smart enough to understand that investing in something they should understand, but currently do not, could make both sides very rich.
But that probably will not happen, so I will return to having fun.
@DavidOndrej1 Maybe not as “distill Anthropic models” directly. That sounds like legal trouble.
Build an open decentralized evaluation and preference network instead. Prompts, answers, rankings, domain reviews, public datasets, open model improvement.
Harder to block, cleaner to defend.
