@ClayinVA@unusual_whales Most of them.

It's crazy to count the VAT a tariff, though, since it applies to ALL products, not just imports.
@AFpost That's still unconstitutional (12th amendment)
"No person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
@mattamyers@AndrewYang Why do we have term limits for presidents then? What about (most) mayors and governors?
Staying in power becomes the top priority without term limits. And as the incumbent you have an inherent advantage with political power.
@FlakeMaster1994@jaycoyden@MeetThePress@AndrewYang It depends entirely on how we deal with it. Those newly unemployed people could either be happy or sad that they lost their job.
The goal is to make sure everyone can live with dignity. With or without a conventional job. Fulfilled people are more productive and creative.
@LPNational Yeah, foreign leaders don't have the power to impose their rules on American citizens.
But they both held lockdowns in their countries. China did 2 waves and for a longer period than the US.
The Ruble tanked.
Russia and China don't have a 2nd amendment.
@AMadolche @DavidJollyFL@AndrewYang I can't find any evidence of your claims. It's ok to criticize Democrats when they deserve it. Selecting Biden without a primary will hurt Dems.
You don't believe their public position. But criticizing Biden counts as proof he wants to help Trump? Nothing can change your mind.
@towerykr If you look at countries with higher democracy scores which don't use a party primary system you'll understand.
Partisan primaries limits choice, which reduces representation.
@DCDemocrats Since the DC Dems have officially come out against RCV, I wonder what is their position on Approval, Score and STAR voting.
Are they only against RCV or against any voting reform?
@SneakyBirdBTech @TRHLofficial Nazi bad. We all agree. For that reason it has become a tool. If you can accuse your opponent of being a nazi you get people on your side.
In the US we usually see the left use it against the right.
But we're seeing the right in Russia using it against Ukraine (to the left).
@normcos It's ironic that one of the Russian narratives claims this is a war against the West (NATO but mostly the US), but countries furthest to the west are more likely to take Russia's side in the conflict.
@WSJ These developments remind me of the Kursk incident in 2000. Russia accused the US of accidentally crashing into their submarine or firing a torpedo.
Later, after careful investigation, it was revealed that a faulty torpedo exploded inside the Kursk.

@andre_moraux@upholdreality Not comparable. Snowden and Assange would have fallen off a windows or get food poisoned if they had revealed Russian secrets. Like Litvinenko, for example.
Kara-Murza and Tucker only criticized their governments.
@StumpytheCorgi@emperoreaganite@BasedMikeLee If Russia ever uses nukes, I can imagine people posting on Twitter "what about Hiroshima and Nagasaki?"
You shouldn't copy other countries' mistakes.
