Am Satheesh.
In 2016, I left corporate life, 40 days before turning 40, and started Kratos Innovation Labs.
To understand blockchain deeply, I pursued a FinTech certification from MIT. My thesis evolved into x-Defraud, later profiled by The Economic Times among the Top 50 startups to watch in 2017.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked closely with stakeholders across the food ecosystem; from farmers and agribusinesses to technology, finance and institutions.
Today, I’m building @farmhawkAI to make agriculture more sustainable, intelligent and accessible.
6 of 10 FarmHawk modules are live.
30,000 farmers supported and counting.
Our ambition: build one of the most cost-effective AI platforms for agriculture in the world.
And yes, I turned 50 a couple of months ago and I still happen to code.
Age is just a number.
Building never gets old.
@MagnusGrimeland Perseverance.
Sustained 10 years as a founder.
Solved the biggest problems for smallholder farmers in the Global South.
FarmHawk [dot] ai
10 years in, we actively listened to our customers.
What we heard was bigger than just the need for a Precision Agriculture platform.
So we evolved FarmHawk from simply providing agricultural intelligence to unlocking that intelligence for multiple stakeholders to underwrite risk —> across lending, insurance, supply chains, and agriculture.
The technology evolved because the problem evolved.
And sometimes, the best product strategy is simply to listen.
@andruyeung Alright, that helps.
I started my company in 2016, when I turned 40, and have managed to sustain and grow it through the past decade. I happened to turn 50 a couple of months ago—and I’m still at it.
@FarmHawkAI , we rolled out AI agentic Infrastructure to assist smallholder farmers in the Global South.
Multiple use cases:
1. Crop health monitoring (helps farmers to save crops and increase yield)
2. Crop monitoring (we become eyes for financial institution to underwrite risk for Agri Loans and Crop insurance)
3. Village Monitoring (helps fertilizer companies to target sales)
..and more.

Food is a fundamental necessity of the human beings.
However, the farmers that produce food in the Global South are still unbanked.
The last figure stood at 70%.
