Somebody took my son’s brand-new Nike backpack from school this week and had no idea there was an AirTag hidden inside it. His grandmother puts one in all the expensive things she buys for her grandkids. I used to think it was a bit much until this happened.

I checked the location that evening expecting it to still be somewhere around the school. Instead, it stayed at one location all night. The next morning, it started moving back toward the school.

So I got there early. As parents were dropping their kids off, I spotted a student walking across the parking lot with my son’s backpack on. It wasn’t hard to recognize because it had his name stitched onto the front.

I walked over and said, “Excuse me… I think that’s my son’s backpack.”

@CapTweed If you've not already done so try calling Zurich direct and ask for a 2yr policy. They quoted me €1200 to renew house and contents policy, got them down to €1080. Others were quoting me around €700 for 1 year. Up from €986 in 2024.
