@FineGael You told irish people the mother and care referendum was “necessary”.
You along with FF are the primary reason why nobody trusts the government.
You’re a disgrace.
While the government's plans to remove the Triple Lock are now set to go before cabinet, the plan has been criticised by opposition parties and academics alike.
Do you think Ireland should end the Triple Lock system? Vote in our poll below: https://t.co/S71knpQITf
@declanganley It has served us well for 66 years.
The questions that all reasonable persons are asking is
Why?
And
Why now?
And
Why not seek general consensus from the people via a referendum?
It’s the decent and democratic thing to do in any Republic right?
Europe of course is the least based and least trusted continent on the planet right now.
But this MEP points his finger at all of the others.
The fact is that the EU needs these adults in the room.
👉 No other country in the world gives Trump 🇺🇸, Putin 🇷🇺 and Xi 🇨🇳 a veto over their own foreign policy.
The Irish 'Triple Lock' is the opposite of national sovereignty.
The world has drastically changed. Irish military neutrality remains steadfast but must adapt.
.@sinnfeinireland seem to want Irish soldiers confined to their barracks. No young person wants to join such an army.
Irish peacekeepers have a proud record around the world and are now needed more than ever.
I welcome today's reform by the Irish parliament 🇮🇪.
@thejournal_ie FIAT currency was never king. King of convenience alright but never truly king.
There was ever only one real king of money - precious metals. And it still is.

I joined LMFM this morning to discuss the reform to the Triple Lock, which is being voted on in the Dáil today.
If we maintain the current system, we will end Ireland’s proud tradition of peacekeeping.
No other country should decide things for Ireland.
@thejournal_ie They also said we should vote YES/YES to the mother and care referendum.
Well the nation did the exact opposite by record margins and her boss resigned.
Their credibility to read a room is in the toilet.
The Irish government want to open your post for the greater good.
(Jim O’Callaghan said that he would be introducing legislation which would allow for the interception of all forms of communications — whether encrypted or not)
@rtenews You left out the part that wind farms still get paid for lost energy- even when they are turned off.
Tax payers must compensate them for an overloaded grid and lost energy.
Solar farms too.
They win either way only the end user loses.
It’s a scam.
@rtenews Turns out that humanity has no control over the climate. I’m shocked.
Time to wrap up these pointless carbon taxes finally and give everyone their money back so.
What’s that you say?
