Well below GAA sports gaelic football & hurling, also soccer is very popular. Rugby is well done the list in 4th place.

French TOP14 clubs are the wealthiest in Europe, can sign lots of foreign players to supplement French talent. Foreigners can became JIFF qualified if sign at 18. Then 3 yrs to qualify for France.

Irish rugby provinces are limited to 3 Non-Irish Qualified players in their squads, governed by position-specific guidelines to protect the pathways for homegrown and Irish-qualified talent. @CapitanTed @IrishTimes Leinster have zero British Lions. Think of what you posted for a moment. Leinster is located in Ireland 🇮🇪 (the sovereign independent country of Ireland). It is not part of the UK/Britain.. hence the name British & Irish Lions. Christ almighty, basic knowledge, not difficult.
