It’s about to be quiet over here for a while as my last day before maternity leave was Friday. Friday was also my due date, but we’re still waiting on little man to make his arrival. Enjoy this “Congratulations Mrs. Padgett” conga line from a few of my girls in the meantime. 🤪

Blocks 1 & 2 had class rewards today for beating the pencil challenge for the first time! 🥳 Block 1 celebrated with takis, and block 2 spent some much needed free time outside!

I’ve only known these kids for 16 days.

We’re just in the third week of school, but yesterday my homeroom threw me a surprise baby shower. They brought cake, flowers, & gifts. Maaaaaaybe it’s the pregnancy hormones, but I *might* tear up when I think about it. 💙

@heyitsdunston It’s so much fun! They do at least 10 pieces of advice to help the upcoming 6th graders “survive.” Then I show them at the BOY to the new classes. A great post-EOG activity!
