Thirteen young lives have now been lost because of the incompetence of one minister. Thirteen families shattered, yet the system is focused only on evading accountability.

These are not personal tragedies. These are deaths caused by institutional failure.

For millions of students from lower and middle-class families in this country, medicine and engineering remain one of the few pathways out of poverty, socio-economic mobility, towards a better life for themselves and their families. Parents spend their life savings on these exams. Students dedicate years of their lives for these exams.

But then, the state has turned exams of such importance into a hub of corruption, leaking papers and selling seats. This is not administrative mismanagement. It goes far beyond that. It is the organised destruction of the hopes and dreams of millions of students who cannot buy their way through the system.

Do we want to continue breaking our young people like this, again and again?

The X account of David Peterson (@davidgpeterson), General Manager at @ProtonVPN, has been suspended in India.

This came after he posted about a 150% surge in hourly registrations for Proton VPN from India, following @telegram's temporary ban in the country.

Proton VPN is a virtual private network (VPN) service that allows users to change their apparent online location. By using a VPN, people in India could route their internet traffic through servers outside the country and access blocked platforms such as Telegram.

The suspension of his account adds to the growing trend of content takedowns and account suspensions ordered without transparency.

Most of these orders are being issued under Section 69A of the IT Act, which allows the government to issue blocking orders on broad grounds such as national security or public order.

Read with Rule 16 of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking Access of Information by Public) Rules, 2009, this provision requires confidentiality regarding all requests and complaints received as well as actions taken.

As a result, the person facing information blocking may never be heard or provided a reasoned order on why their content is blocked online. Apart from causing a chilling effect on free speech, this violates basic tenets of natural justice.

Why don't I have the option to buy fuel without ethanol at petrol pumps?

If the government wants, it can charge different taxes on different fuel grades.

But why am I being forced to buy a mixed product when my vehicle is not compatible even with E10 or E20?

Why am I forced to buy something, I did not choose, using money that I earned and already paid taxes on?

Or you have any internal setting with Nitin Gadkari on the Income being generated on selling a blended product to citizens?
