It’s not every day a public school teacher has a resolution of support and is honored at the state level. Today I was named a @TXStateUnivSyst Regents Teacher. Becoming an educator is so very rewarding as we get to help others improve their lives. Humbled and so very grateful to the 7 colleagues that nominated or wrote letters of support and to President Hernandez and Provost, Dr. Bernie Cantens for their encouragement. Thank you for reminding me that we are built for impact and to keep going. #purposedrivenlife #believeingoodness #gratefulheart
@BerreEirik On the other hand, I don’t have any feedback on improvement ideas, for I have not encountered a problem, but I will reach out if any come up!
Thank you for helping my students grown!
@BerreEirik Hello!
My 5th grade students love Curipod! We utilize it when answering comprehension questions during our chapter reading. They enjoy the AI feedback and appreciate it mentioning their glows before highlighting areas of growth.
Did you know #AI tools like @curipodofficial & @magicschoolai can help educators improve writing in the classroom? Reach out to #txed digital leader, @pag19dt to learn more. She provided an excellent training to our future and veteran teachers today.

One thing that has been beneficial to me is making learning personal to them by reminding my students that they are in charge of their own learning when we get on computers. Each student is in charge of completing a certain number of questions online correctly. #SRSUlearns

Go noodle is great for brain breaks or indoor recess! It also allows you to create a classroom character and grow your character with every activity you do!
@SRSUEducation A9
I enjoy using brain break programs like go noodle to allow my students to stand up and move around after working online for a couple of hours. They also respond really well to freeze dancing and practicing their breathing with classroom zen. #SRSUlearns
#SRSULearns TEAMS are crucial to any school's success. YES, we have to help each other and not be afraid to admit when we don't know something or need help.
@SRSUEducation I didn’t teach pre-covid, but I would say providing us with trainings and researching online softwares that can benefit students academic performance while building their digital skills. #SRSUlearns
@SRSUEducation I recently started using google classroom as a “discussion board” with my students. I loved it throughout college so I thought they might enjoy it too. They reply to a simple prompt by typing 3 sentences. Just have to go over expectations!
@SRSUEducation A4 I can see my third grade students disengage from their computer after maybe 1 hour. They do not have the stamina to sit in front of a computer for long without any breaks. It is important to use developmentally appropriate software when integrating technology. #SRSUlearns
@SRSUEducation This is my first semester teaching, and I have not participated in any PD activities involving tech integration. But definitely looking forward to when I do.
@SRSUEducation @drmillerray Classrooms will always be diverse. It is important for teachers to maintain equity in the classroom even when utilizing technology. Teachers can make sure the programs they are using have tools that some students might need like magnifying the text, and read to self.
@SRSUEducation The district I work for uses programs like Eureka math and Amplify to differentiate student learning experience. These programs allow students to work on skills they haven’t mastered or need more practice on before moving on.
