The government is your God, deny it all you want.
Your government has more power in determining, the trajectory of your life than any God anywhere you claim to serve.
That God will not do a pinch of what, your government is capable of doing for you.

One of the many things Oyo State will appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for is his commitment to meritocracy and a system where opportunities are not reserved for those who know the right people.
Under his administration, the principle is that you do not have to know a governor, a commissioner or a political godfather to secure a place in the civil service. If you are qualified and meet the requirements, you should have a fair opportunity to succeed.
This is what good governance should look like: a system where competence, qualification and merit matter more than connections, influence or political affiliation. Public opportunities should serve the people, not become privileges for a select few.
That is the standard Oyo State must continue to uphold. When people trust that the process is fair, they can aspire, prepare and compete with confidence, knowing that their future is not determined by who they know, but by what they bring to the table.
Under Seyi Makinde in Oyo State, you do not need to know the younger brother of the SUBEB or TESCOM chairman to be employed.
You also do not need to know the Ogbomosho or Ibadan or Oyo or Kutuwengi Chief Imam.
If APC wins in Oyo State, job slots will be distributed among party members and the influential. We can see what’s happening at the Federal level. At least, what happened in this video is a vivid, obvious and practical testament to that.
