Hi, writers. We’re PageHearth 🔥📖
We’re building a free, open-source, local-first writing and publishing studio for authors. Still early, still cooking, but we wanted to start meeting the people we’re building it for.
Your stories belong here.
PageHearth’s writing side got a big upgrade lately: Split Editors, font sizing, text alignment, formatting feedback, and now Focus Mode.
Next up: Writing Statistics + Writing Goals. 🔥📖
It’s starting to feel like a real writing environment.
#WritingCommmunity#WritingSoftware
A story rarely fits in the manuscript alone. 📖
PageHearth’s development build now has a Corkboard, Outliner, Notebook, and QuickNotes. Next, the World Bible is taking shape.
Writers: what’s the one detail you’re always digging through your notes to find?
@realmattfalcon Desktop for me. I like knowing my book is saved on my pc and i dont need to worry about clouds or connections. Felt strongly enough about it to start building my own lol
This is PageHearth. Still very early in development but it answers that question for me with no problem!
@KasliesSharma Being creative in some capacity. Writing, sketching, creating apps, 3d modeling, playing instruments. Anything creative forces my brain to make the feel-good chemicals 😂
@DamarisKajang I honestly haven’t read me yet that’s gave me that kinda reaction and I want it!!
I want a book that makes me pull a Joey and toss it in the freezer 🤣
