ICYMI Legislators need to pass lasting property tax relief before going home. Guest opinion from Tim Summers, AARP Montana State Director. #MTNews#MTLeg#MTPol https://t.co/u08IQzdfhx via @billingsgazette
Social Security has never missed a payment and AARP and our tens of millions of members are not going to stand by and let that happen now.
40% of older Americans rely on Social Security as their primary source of income and would face economic hardship if benefits were not paid out on time.
Right now, 68 million people are receiving Social Security they have earned. The Commissioner should focus on making sure checks go out on time and people get the customer service they deserve.
