@Doctors__squad WAIT YALL don’t USE BIPOLAR CAUTERY for the vessels prior to putting ur transscleral ports in? and yall don’t mark your distance from the limbus with calipers, just raw dogging it? insane and beautiful.
@BrianLongFilms@ChrisClarkoffic@LilMikki06@clippedszn You’re lying to all these people forrrr.. what reason? Those appear to be Humboldt penguins… a South American WARM water penguin, who don’t need subzero temps lmfao. Which are listed as vulnerable under the IUCN and it’s prohibited to export/use them for commercial purposes.
you can see him be like “ooh a bunny” and then locks in. and then he overshoots bc he expects the bunny to run away. and then hes like sniffing and is like “i guess ill grab the thing anyway idk what it is” and then he realizes its definitely not food and leaves it lmao
@Immortal_Ada@moderncharting@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck He is an addict who openly talks about which drugs he prefers + his friends talked on stream about the cocktail. He is a habitual Ketamine user (dissociative anesthetic) + DXM (similar to Ket) + GHB (EXTREMELY strong CNS depressor) that he chugged on stream.
@Immortal_Ada@moderncharting@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck .. you’re the one not understanding. he overdosed ON a CNS depressor. the TREATMENT is Narcan to stop the drug from binding to the receptors. Adderall isn’t standard of care, IV fluids + oxygen support is. But when you’re an addict with a slow pulse, you’re choosing the Adderall.
@Immortal_Ada@moderncharting@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck don’t need AI, just google it. first two links (both government/medical sites) confirm, that it causes low BP/HR and eventually respiratory depression (which is what Naloxone helps reverse). CNS depressors don’t “overstimulate” the body, they reduce brain activity and sedate
@Immortal_Ada@moderncharting@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck exact opposite 😭 opioids cause HYPOtension (low BP) + bradycardia (low HR). Naloxone is an opioid antagonist and binds to the receptors opioids attach to, doesn’t “calm” anything down, just stops the opioid from binding. a stimulant helps with w the low BP + HR into safe zone
@Immortal_Ada@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck i don’t disagree, but also don’t think they care much based off of the media you see about them floating around online. he’s an addict that’s how most of them function. they walk a fine line and when it’s pushed they either ride it or have methods to remedy it (like the adderall)
@Immortal_Ada@Thehoopsreel@FearedBuck when you’re overdosing you get hypotensive + bradycardia. adderall is a CNS stimulant which can help counteract that by temporarily increasing heart rate + blood pressure, especially if what he took was something like a benzo/opioid. still dumb + playing with fire but can work
@notoohjazz@thekonyjen i don’t disagree at all but as far as i’m aware the most common method used is typically the best one for prevention (subq + absorbable) but every dr/situation is diff. steroids i assume that’s tricky given they take weeks/months to form. skincare + education is always important
@thekonyjen i am, and i was never denying the existence of medical misogyny and racism. but i have sutured abdominal walls before. any doctor could close the abdomen after a c-section and any person has a chance of dehiscence, keloids, etc. despite a perfect closure. just a unfortunate fact
this is actually timid for some macaques, some wild caught sexually mature males are brutal sometimes 😭 if they wanted to hurt him they would and EASILY, these are hierarchical social cues and corrections by a more dominant NHP lmao
after working with macaques it’s so funny to see people reacting to normal hierarchical behavior, it’s going to take a bit for him to be fully established in the colony but that was normal discipline. he isn’t being bullied he’s just an outsider that has to learn his place
