32 years after Freddie Mercury’s death his ex-girlfriend sold his personal belongings for 50 million dollars.

In the video below Freddie explains why he left everything to her.

Mary Austin was Freddie’s girlfriend from 1970 to 1976. She was 19 when they met at a London boutique called Biba, he was 24 and still called Farrokh Bulsara. They lived together for 6 years. In 1976 Freddie told her he was bisexual and moved out, started dating men openly, and bought her an apartment around the corner from his new Kensington mansion.

They stopped being lovers in 1976. They stayed best friends for the next 15 years.

He wrote “Love of My Life” for her in 1975. He called her his common law wife. He stared at her in the audience during that song at every Queen show. On November 23 1991 he publicly announced he had AIDS. He died 24 hours later at 45 years old in that Kensington mansion.

Jim Hutton was an Irish hairdresser Freddie had met at a London club in 1983. By 1985 Jim had moved into Garden Lodge. He lived there with Freddie for the last 6 years of Freddie’s life. He tested HIV positive himself in 1990 while nursing Freddie through the illness. He bathed Freddie when Freddie could no longer bathe himself. He changed the sheets. He fed him. He was in the room, holding Freddie’s hand, when he died.

The will was a shock to his family.

Mary Austin received the Garden Lodge mansion and 50 percent of Freddie’s share of Queen royalties forever. His parents and his sister Kashmira split 25 percent of the catalog among the three of them. Jim Hutton received 500 thousand pounds. The executors required him to leave Garden Lodge within three months.

500 thousand pounds and three months for the man who held his hand. The house and half the royalties forever for the woman who stopped being his lover in 1976.

Hutton packed his clothes and moved back to Ireland in 1992. He died of lung cancer in 2010 in County Carlow. His own book about Freddie sold modestly and he was buried near the farm he grew up on.

Mary Austin stayed in Garden Lodge for 32 years. She raised two sons there with a painter named Piers Cameron whom she started seeing after Freddie’s death. She kept Freddie’s bedroom exactly as he left it. She barely gave interviews.

Then on September 6 2023, which would have been Freddie’s 77th birthday, Mary Austin walked into Sotheby’s with 1,400 items from Freddie’s life and started selling them.

She sold the handwritten lyrics for “Bohemian Rhapsody” for 1.4 million pounds. She sold his Yamaha piano. She sold his stage costumes. She sold his cat portraits. She sold the love letters he had written to her at 25 when she was 20. The one week sale ended at approximately 40 million pounds, close to 50 million dollars, and continued online for weeks after.

Freddie’s sister Kashmira publicly described the auction as painful.

Mary Austin is 75 years old in 2026. She lives in the same Kensington mansion Freddie died in. She has sold the man she loved piece by piece over one week and she still owns the house.

Would you leave the house and half the royalties to the woman who stopped being your lover in 1976, or to the man who lived with you, nursed you, and held your hand when you died?

Por eso sigue sin fichar ese jugador en el medio del campo que necesitan, sigue con la matraca de Negreira solo como cortina de humo y ha renovado a Vinicius, sabiendo que era la peor decisión posible.

La pregunta es que gana él si el Real Madrid no le va bien

Y todo se reduce a dinero como siempre

Ahora que va a vender parte del club un 5 % o un 10 % creando una nueva sociedad limitada, que será la propietaria del fútbol y el baloncesto no es lo mismo que valoren al club en 10.000 millones por ejemplo a que lo valoren en 8000 millones

Algunos dirán que al revés que le conviene que lo valoren en lo máximo posible para sacar el máximo dinero posible para el club, pero como mi teoría es que ese 5 % ese 10 % lo van a comprar el propio Florentino o Anas Laghrari, o los dos, obviamente no de forma directa, sino a través de alguna estructura en la que ellos no aparezcan directamente, realmente les interesaría más que la valoración sea más baja. Y cuanto peor le vaya al equipo más baja es la cotización.

Además, eso propiciaría que las acciones que tendrán los socios a su vez costarán menos por lo que sabiendo cuál es la valoración total del club, ellos podrán ofrecer a los socios unas cantidades para comprar sus acciones y poder hacerse con el control del 51 % del club

Lo explico con números:

Si el club lo valoran en 10.000 millones y venden un 10 % el Real Madrid estaría ingresando 1000 millones y el otro 90 % se repartiría en acciones entre los cerca de 100.000 socios del Real Madrid. Dicho esto, cada acción vendría tener un valor de 90.000 €.

Si es cierto, que de la manera que sea Florentino, ya controla ese 10 % que se vendió necesita comprar el 41 % de las acciones para hacerse con la mayoría de la sociedad. A 90.000 € por acción significa que necesita otras 41.000 acciones que le costarían 3690 millones de euros

Supongamos ahora que la valoración son 8000 millones y han vendido un 10 % por 800 millones. Eso hace que las acciones de la sociedad tendrían un valor de 72.000 €. Si compra 41.000 acciones a ese precio el coste total de la operación son 2952 millones

Es decir, que una valoración de 2000 millones menos le ahorraría 738 millones en una operación para quedarse con el control de la sociedad, que al final es la propietaria de los activos del club

Otros diréis que ese dinero es calderilla para Florentino, para Anas o para los fondos de inversión que sean el vehículo con el cual tramiten este tipo de operación, pero si creéis que han hecho tanto dinero, regalando millones de esa manera es que nos sabéis cómo funciona el mundo

Insisto que es mi teoría de la conspiración, con lo cual tiene la misma base que la de que Vinícius tiene un doble que está jugando en el Real Madrid pero….

Solo el tiempo nos dirá si Florentino le está robando el club a sus socios en su cara
