If I were to be on the X team, here's what I'll simply do to retain more users and make X a great social media platform again:

- create a three strike system. If people break the rules, let them know why they broke the rules clearly before taking action against them. A strike one would be a warning with the violating content attached so users can take action to remove them, a strike two would be another warning and last strike would mean that such a user is out permanently.

- ensure that the algorithm gives a special boost to users who create valuable and original content. This would encourage them to create more of such content and focus less on gaming the system just for the numbers. Content creation takes a lot of time, consistency and dedication. Not getting any immediate engagements is always discouraging to a lot of users.

- make sure the algorithm creates a balance between seeing your mutuals and new users or non mutuals. More like a 60/40 ratio. This means it won't essentially be a mutuals dominated timeline, but you get to see new users who are in the same niche or have similar interests with you. That way, you'll get new users organically who follow you because they are interested in what you're posting.

- Social media shouldn't be restricted by regions, there should be no geo-fencing. People should be able to connect and interact with anybody in the world regardless of race, status or location. Tweak the algorithm to allow for more interactions with everyone regardless of location.

Someone decided to accommodate you in his house when you ran away from home because you were accused of theft.

The person housed you, clothed and fed you for almost 3 months until you got a job.

Immediately after you got the job, your first salary na olosho you go carry.

And you're telling the guy that you don't owe him anything, even though he's only asking that you contribute to the bills, since you work and live with him now.

This is why it's hard to help people.

Don't build your brand around the creators revenue.

Don't abandon your account.

Opportunities are too much on X for you to be myopic enough to depend on one stream of income.

Just keep building and aligning with the right people.

This month's end, I'll be starting a full time gig with a brand here & I'll be paid a monthly salary.

I'm not too big to learn from anybody, and I'm not too small for you learn from me.

You can't progress if you're too arrogant and conceited, your knowledge will always be limited.

Some of you will see a person doing fine for themselves and you will become envious.

You will not bother to ask how they are making it, but every thought is how to bring them down.

Will your envy lift you up?

Drop your pride and ask for update, humility will make you teachable and eventually you'll be elevated.
