[ Jade is the classic overconfident antagonizer that keeps poking someone into action.

It’s like when she sang ‘You Don’t Know Me.’ Beck showed up, said he missed her. She asked him what he was going to do about it.

That’s all she wants. Classic. ]

This isn’t the community involvement she anticipated for her day.

She gets the picture, the distressed picture it was, and picks the bottle back up to squeeze a stream into his mouth. It’s messy and poorly aimed, but it does the job.

“Is this even helping?”

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

He prefers it this way. Unbothered by the lack of trust and far too tired to even try to get up, much less grab the bottle, Frank simply opens his mouth. Weak left hand closes in a fist, thumb raised upwards, signalling he’s ready for the water now.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

She doesn’t feel confident in the idea of a strange man drinking out of her water bottle, so she reluctantly pulls it free from her bag, crouching down gingerly and sliding it toward him.

“Waterfall it.”

She tucks an errant dark strand behind her ear, a frown on her lips.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

He’s trying his damndest not to pass out right there and then. Eyes lock onto the woman (is she an angel or is he delusional?) as lips curl into a shaky smile.

“All good. . . just gimme a sec.” Trying to control his breathing, but in vain. “You. . . got any water on ya—?”

@charmandsongs

She doesn’t ring the bell outside his apartment when she arrives.

Instead, she wedges herself next to the door of the dilapidated excuse for a New York hovel and texts the number she never had in her to delete from her phone.

‘i’m here. hurry up or i’m going’

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

@THEOGSPIIIIID He’d be lucky if she ever let him touch her.

After everything he’s done to antagonize her, she’ll force him to live with his imagination. He can ‘glaze’ in his dreams.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

@THEOGSPIIIIID She doubts he has the talented required for it.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

@THEOGSPIIIIID I’ll make sure I record myself dumping it out the nearest window. The alley rats can enjoy that garbage.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

@THEOGSPIIIIID Fair’s fair.

Aren’t heroes supposed to be fair?

You saw mine. I see yours. I won’t make yours into a nickname.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

Yeah, we’ll see, won’t we?

[• 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓 @charmandsongs]

I’m a better man now.

Not a word leaves my lips I can’t keep.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

Jade knows better than to think this gym inhabits normal people, but she doesn’t often see keeled over men on the ground.

Brow raising, she nudges him with the toe of her sneaker.

“You planning on getting up? I have a show tonight. I don’t have time for a 911 call.”

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

Panting, Frank falls to the floor. He spent the last two hours pushing his body to the limits with a rigurous training routine that has left him exhausted, sweaty and aching all over.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

[• 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓 @charmandsongs]

I’ll be there. I always will.

[• 𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 @painedscissors]

If I show up to get you and you’re not there, I’m leaving.

[• 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓 @charmandsongs]

@THEOGSPIIIIID Something else.

Sounds like I need to up the ante.

You were looking at my tits and you know you were. You don’t need eyes for that to have been true.
