Okay, so I know no one at @warhammer will actually read this, but this is how I’ve spent my Sunday morning.

Comparing crusader squads to show the difference between the two 10 man units (first born & primaris) and how bad it is.

Anyway, thread over. Don’t want to rant, just highlight a point.

Been in the hobby since 3rd edition, but now being made to feel like it’s no longer for me.

But anyway, no one cares.

@liquid_pope @warhammer I think part of it is just to make anything ‘first born’ related shit, so you’re encouraged to go for Primaris units. It’s been happening since 8th.

Also, wouldn’t surprise me if some of these units (like Vanguards) had a new box on the way with magical new rules for the codex.

@liam_mcgerty @warhammer It’s because they’re not Primaris chosen boys. If they were, I’m sure the rules would have been a lot better.

For now, unfortunately, it’s the classic case of “don’t bother with these, play something ‘better’..” aka buy a new army pls because we made your models suck now.

@ToySoldierFun I know what you mean. I don’t play competitive games. I just like playing games and having a good time, so I’m absolutely fine with Legends. It’s just a shame they won’t support them going forwards. I may just end up gathering all these indexes and calling it a day.

@ToySoldierFun Yep! I’ve been thinking similar. I was so looking forward to 10th, but now I’m feeling like it might be the last edition I play. Fed up of intentionally being shafted with poor rules. Especially as a customer who spends a lot of time, effort and money on the hobby.

*** Except for Primaris, of course. Even though they’re not Primaris because we didn’t call them Primaris, we just straight replaced the old squad. But they’re basically Primaris. Sike!

Also GW: We’re going to shaft first born players again. No new named character’s can lead your units.** Sternguard are dead*** and we’ve killed Vanguard Veteran’s.

@ToySoldierFun Yep. And look at what they did to Black Templars. Every named character is Primaris only. What is even the point in the Crusader Squad now. Pisses me off!
