@LoShearing @asexuality The more conventional harshly gendered wedding I was in did cause a lot of private distress but there was a trans guy on the groom’s side and we stuck together. I think having affirming people you can be with who understand helps a lot.

@LoShearing @asexuality Also for the last wedding I was in the bride asked if I would be more comfortable switching the label “bridesmaids” to “bridesfriends”. I told her it was fine as is but the fact that she took the time to check was so kind and affirming.
