@kupoccino -and that’s why they always change it to be more marketable in-be that for 90s audiences or modern ones- whenever they adapt it, which ultimately loses what makes TriMax unique in the end)
@kupoccino It’s so funny bc those ppl can absolutely get that anime like FMA are different from the manga, but that the manga version (and FMAB) are ultimately the definitive version, but can’t do it with TriMax (tbh I think trimax is just STILL to ahead of its time-
@kupoccino FOR REALLL… Like, in the manga they are something akin to soulmates (even beyond a romantic context) Vash loves humans from the outside looking in, never getting close, then in comes wolfwood who burrows his way in and becomes his partner in every way, to not have that is WILD
@kupoccino This kills me, in Max, wolfwood has a unique importance to Vash, he’s put on the same level as /Rem/ (as we see through paneling and the fact that wolfwood is the person Vash breaks his philosophy based on Rem’s belief for and kills for), like,,, he’s not just another human 😭
@kcrlfs As someone with a father like this, how he’s acting is incredibly realistic, oof (but also, I think this perspective based on personal experience this means I want him to get better, not idk, die) hell, his “apology” was even spot on for this kind of guy
@kupoccino Been here since I was 12 (watched the anime, wanted more, read all of maximum and have never shut up abt it) and I’m 25 now, you may have the infection for life 😔
@FoxxDoesThings Also as a lesbian who was going to bat for straight women when they were under attack for liking LADS (a gacha aimed at women) just for the community to turn viciously homophobic, I feel you, getting a bit worn out
@FoxxDoesThings I truly do not understand this attitude, as a lesbian who cannot be out bc of where I live and due to my job, this part of the story touched me so deeply- it felt so joyful and the emotions felt so real, idk man maybe straight ppl just don’t get it
