To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
It means so much to Barack and me to open up the Obama Presidential Center on the South Side of Chicago. This is where I grew up, where Barack got his start, and where we raised our girls. So having a place where kids from our community can see themselves, connect with each other, and channel their hope—there’s nothing more powerful than that.
With $300 billion, we could end homelessness, fund cancer research for 40 years, and give every child free pre-K for over 7 years. Instead, Trump is sending it to Iran. This is not America First. Not even close.
Corporate America has turned its back on democracy and bowed down to Trump. When, in the future, it once agains becomes convenient for them to say they celebrate democracy we should not believe them.
In the meantime, we are on our own.
For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.
BREAKING: Bloomberg has secured a copy of Donald Trump’s peace plan that hands $300 billion to Iran. This arguably could be the biggest scandal of Trump’s entire second term.
It's only Tuesday and Trump has fucked up a pool for $14 Million, lost a war agreeing to pay Iran $300 Billion, and ballooned his already expensive ballroom budget by another $200 Million.
Where are the Republicans screaming about "waste, fraud and abuse"?
Big Oil raked in record-breaking profits. The companies that caused the climate crisis are getting rich as they fuel the fire.
@ExxonMobil: $55.7 billion
@Shell: $39.87 billion
@Chevron: $35.5 billion
@BP_plc: $27.7 billion
Time to make the pay for the damage they've caused.
Today, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow’s largest oil refinery.
To understand the scale of the strike, a few key facts about Moscow Oil Refinery:
- Located just 15 kilometers from the Kremlin.
- Supplies up to 40% of Moscow’s gasoline and about 50% of its diesel fuel.
- Overall, it meets around 70% of gasoline needs for Russian capital and surrounding region.
- One in every three cars in Moscow is fueled by products from this refinery.
- Bitumen from the plant is used to build or repair every second street in Moscow.
Drones struck and damaged a key refining unit at Moscow oil refinery, likely causing the facility to halt operations for an extended period of time!

Very emotional moment from the interview with Zelenskyy. You should watch this.
JOURNALIST: Do you miss being an actor?
ZELENSKYY:?I miss being a good father.
JOURNALIST: When your children were little, what did you tell them the most? What was the thing that you told them the most when they were small?
ZELENSKYY: I love you.
JOURNALIST: And what do you tell them now that they're older?
ZELENSKYY: Oh, I miss you.
JOURNALIST: When was the last time you cried?
ZELENSKYY: I will try to do it after our interview. No, I mean this, between us. I'm a normal man and then there are a lot of different moments, between us, almost each day, a lot of losses on the battlefield and civilians, and there are absolutely crazy attacks on our people.
And I'm just, it's… I mean, It's very difficult really, when I give orders (medals). I said about it. It's always difficult for me when I give orders (medals) to the mothers and fathers, who lost their children. In such moments, really, I often cry.
JOURNALIST: Are you a hero?
ZELENSKYY: No.
JOURNALIST: So who is your hero?
ZELENSKYY:?My hero? My children, my army, our army, and Ukrainian people. So I'm a part… I'm also a Ukrainian, so I'm a part of our nation. But now our nation, I think, that our nation is absolutely heroic.
I am grateful to Canada for its new package of sanctions against more than 160 entities linked to Russia’s shadow fleet. Today, during our meeting with @MarkJCarney, we discussed strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia. And it is important that such decisions are being made.
We also discussed formats of defense cooperation, Canada’s participation in financing the production of Ukrainian drones under the Danish model, and cooperation in the energy sector. Importantly, Canada will continue to provide Ukraine with energy support and assistance in recovery.
I thank Mark for his strong position during the G7–Ukraine meeting and for all the support for our people. We truly have strong allies and the Prime Minister’s significant personal engagement in supporting Ukraine. And this is highly valuable.
The tide is turning for Ukraine.
The situation in 2026 is very different from 2025.
Ukraine is bravely holding the frontline.
Russia’s fatigue is openly showing.
That’s the time to double down on our support.
With the first disbursement of the €90 billion EU loan.
With a winter package to support Ukraine later in the year.
The G7 stands in support of a strong and sovereign Ukraine.
