🏆Trophy!🏆Freshly back to mtg, still unpacking the meta! This league was my first time seeing some of these cards. I netdecked @misplacedginger and added Sephiroth as a meta call. The meta being me, me being down bad for one-winged angels.

Stellar matches. This deck involves complicated decision trees and feels incredibly expressive as result. It can be aggressive or grindy.

Faced Affinity in the finals and had one of the most interesting games of magic I've ever played. Opponent was great and the margins were razor thin. I have to hand it to Ginger, this feels like the real deal.

Hes better the further ahead you are. But not as much when you’re behind. If you’re hell bent with no creatures, Sephiroth has no etb. Spyro is a guaranteed +2 cards. If each enter the battlefield and are bolted by our opponent, who is one swing from death, Sephiroth traded 1 for 1, while Spyro replaced himself twice.

@NerdDadChad @SneakyCoatl i just played a thoughtseize list in a league and trophied, finals against affinity. It was relevant in one game.

Got disconnected in my first league match. The program chain crashed and would not let me in until the match had been forfeit. Decided to play on and went 4-1. Kind of cursed. Had this happen yesterday as well. The client seems shakier than it did a few years ago. Is there a workaround?

Affinity was more consistent than I thought it would be. Its pretty hard for opponents to interact meaningfully. Emry overperformed. Looping baubles without fetch lands is a huge miss, but they don't really work with the mana.

@SneakyCoatl People should start playing thoughtseize. It’s the only card that can trade with kappa. Slows their clock considerably.
