There were 1.5k KV tanks produced during the war. At the same time there were 80k of t34 produced.

At this point quantity has a quality all its own.

KV tanks had bad reputation even before WW2 during Winter War because of weight

The whole Ottoman expansion to Europe would make for the epic campaign. Just add a bit of fantasy.

It got everything - hopeless sieges, diplomatic missions, epic battles. You can add stealth recon missions if your players are into it.

I find it quite disenchanting when people navigate through pseudo-medieval settings using their modern knowledge.

Economics is hard. We don't have good models for it now. And there are no chance we can factor magic in them

I like DMing much more than I like preparing or do world building.

Like I'll do it and maybe it'll be fun, but for me the most fun thing is being at the table with my friends, challenging them and celebrating their trickery.

Outside of that, I don't do much as DM

Confession time: I don't like DM'ing all that much. I love writing and designing, but I much prefer to watch players enjoy my world, than actively participate. Makes feedback easier for me. What's your TTRPG confession?

@A_DungeonDelver Sure, you can, but there's a question of time.

You need a lot of encounters for them to be random.

So you either prep a ton of content, with 70% of it never making to the game, or you go old-school with bunch of tables. In the second case it's not exactly "prepared".

@memeslich In my game I rule that dragons alignment determine it's color, not vice versa. So if LG dragon starts to murderhobbo around, their color would change to reflect that.

What they don’t know is that anti-thief system malfunctions and will make them smaller (about the size of a coin.

Should be fun dealing with giant kittens, magic brooms etc.

@roguecaliber Easily Wild Sheep Chase using something extreme rule-light, like Risus or generic d20.

If booklets are allowed - some fantasy PBTA. I don’t need books, but booklets make character creation so much faster for players

@Crossface02 That’s why I like health in WoD better. You have 7 hp. That’s it. Ok, maybe you’ve spent your “feat” on it and you have 8 hp, but that’s max for PC
