In a statement the Alliance of Political Parties of Iranian Kurdistan condemned missile attacks carried out by Iran targeting Peshmerga bases in the Kurdistan Region. The strikes martyred six Peshmerga and injured more than 30.

The attacks are part of a sustained campaign of missile and drone strikes by the Iran’s terrorist IRGC against civilian and military installations in the Kurdistan Region since the outbreak of the current conflict, particularly against Alliance member parties based in Iraqi Kurdistan. The attacks are a direct expression of the regime’s hostility toward the Kurdish people.

The Alliance sends its deepest condolences to the families of the fallen and to the people of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq. The Alliance calls on allied governments and the international community to take firm and immediate action against the Islamic Republic’s ongoing aggression.

مصطفی هجری، دبیرکل حزب دموکرات کوردستان ایران، به عنوان نماینده ائتلاف احزاب کوردستان ایران وارد واشنگتن شد.

بر اساس این گزارش، قرار است او در روزهای آینده دیدارهایی با شماری از مقامات بلندپایه ایالات متحده آمریکا درباره تحولات ایران و مسائل مرتبط با کوردستان داشته باشد.

گفته می‌شود این سفر با هماهنگی وزارت خارجه آمریکا و در چارچوب رایزنی‌های سیاسی ائتلاف احزاب کوردستان ایران با دولت آمریکا انجام می‌شود و جزئیات بیشتر آن در روزهای آینده منتشر خواهد شد.
