Planning to buy a Vinfast VF7? Hold that decision. Despite being a globally recognized brand, VinFast’s customer service in India has been deeply disappointing. My car has been stuck for 2 weeks with no proper resolution or handover yet.

VinFast's after-sales service seems completely unprepared poor reliability, terrible parts availability, slow response & zero urgency.
Key to reducing Diesel consumption :
Medium and Heavy Trucks and Lorries in India are hugely fossil fuel intensive and pollute disproportionately. They are responsible for almost 40% of on road fuel consumption and 35% of on road emissions.
India needs to urgently roll out a Nation wide network of Electric - Heavy Trucks & lorries. This is key to sharply reducing fossil fuel dependency and pollution.

My VF7 met with a minor accident (April,2026). RSA picked and delivered the car to the nearest service station in Nashik(claim under insurance).It’s been two weeks and I have not been handed over my car back. No progress has been made in terms of repair. (2/5)
The service centre personnel-time and again-has just assured by telling POs have been generated and parts have been ordered.Yesterday,got an email stating-“partial parts are in transit and a major parts in back order”.Moreover, repair takes a week after parts are received. (3/5)
I purchased one of the very first VinFast vehicles, placing great faith and trust in your brand from the beginning. ‘VinFast’, being such a renowned global brand - I hadn’t expected such a slow service. Two weeks time is more than sufficient for this scope of car repair. (4/5)
But they are still unsure about the number of weeks it will take to get the car repaired. My family and I have been facing daily commute hurdles due to the same. Vinfast has not been able to keep up with the pace for giving a time bound service. (5/5)
